I am a Comp Sci student who does freelance game design work on the side in hopes of one day breaking into the industry. I decided to start doing these blogs over the games I play in order to have a more structured environment to write about the interesting, or lack thereof, mechanics in a particular game. I have so far found this process to be extremely rewarding and I enjoy doing it as it opens up the possibilities to come across an idea that I may not have thought of just from playing the game and being done with it.
I appreciate any and all feedback and criticism and I hope you at least find my posts informative. If you enjoy these posts please feel free to follow me here and on Twitter: @notnickthompson
